No Sew Curtain Ideas???
Alright so my current curtains are really kid-ish, and I want really funky boho-themed ones with awesome patterns, but also, I want something cool and different, so then i thought, ‘no sew curtains!’
problem. i have no ideas.
Got any good ones?
my windows are about 40 cm off the ground, a meter and a half wide, and almost 2 meters high.
Sorry, I really can’t be bothered to find a tape measure around here…
Anyway, if you have any cool no-sew curtain ideas, please, tell me! And also, I prefer that they are CHEAP ideas, meaning it won’t cost me a fortune? thanks.
No Sew Curtain Ideas?
Go to your local fabric store and buy the material needed according to the length you want and150cm wide. You also need ‘iron on tape’. This tape is a NO SEW tape. Fold the ends over 1/4″ and press with the iron. Use the no sew tape as per instructions (very easy) on the CORRECT temperature.
All you need then is a rod the width of the window or a little longer. Fold the length of fabric in two and mark the center point with a pin. With this you will wrap the length of material over at the center and continue on the ends, folding them over. Make sure that you have enough length to come down on each side in the desired width.
Another suggestion is that you can buy cheap, but good curtains and the clips to hang them with.
