Zuni or Navajo jewelry ? Who is the artist? Hallmark ” R STERLING R”?
I have a huge bracelet with a carved turquoise Indian face in the middle. Huge piece.
The hallmark inside said:
R STERLING R
I would like to found out who made it.
Please help if you can.
Other details: Zuni inlays , but used Navajo style as well.
Isn’t in more likely that the “STERLING” mark has something to do with the quality of the silver used in the piece?
