Proper Care for Turquoise Jewelry

For silver turquoise jewelry, you can achieve this easily by using a silver polishing cloth. The first thing you’ll do is clean the silver with the cloth, being careful to avoid touching the turquoise stone with the cloth. Many polishing cloths contain cleaning agent that will damage the stone.
There are polishing cloths for gold as well, which would be preferred to using liquid cleaners. If you do use a liquid cleaner for your jewelry, you must be careful to apply the cleaning agent with a cloth without touching the turquoise stone. When cleaning turquoise jewelry, you have to use caution, so it may take time. Clean the metal of your turquoise jewelry thoroughly and wipe off any debris left from the cleaning solution.
