jewellery dilemma.. how to fix?
i have an amethyst point pendant, and the holder that attaches it to the chain is the same as this one:

actually the entire thing is pretty much the same, apart from mine was an amethyst..
but the silver clasp at the top of the amethyst has broken, from lots of wear and tear, and the actual silver has become so worn it has snapped.
does anyone have any idea how i can make this pendant wearable again?
or if anyone knows anywhere that sells just the holder?
i’ve tried jewellery wire, but can seem to get it to hold..
any suggestions welcome.
(p.s i would buy a new one, but this was my mothers, hence the wear and tear.. two generations worth)

i would suggest taking it to an old fashioned jewellers (not one of these huge new ones like). I doubt it would be that much money to get the worn and broken pieces replaced
