should i use sand or glass stone in my 10 gallon tank?

i want loaches, platys, and zebra danios. one lady said that glass is better cause its smooth and pretty. on the other hand i researched and loaches love to burrow in sand. if i get sand it will be pool sand. the glass stone isn’t sharp like glass. its the smooth kind like in decorative flower vases. which is better, easier, and more convenient for the fish.

I’d do gravel instead. Just my personal preference. If you really want sand, make sure you rinse it very well. I have a yoyo loach and he is fine with gravel. Gravel is easier to clean, also.
