Huge Spider Pendant?
Just curious I saw a customer at the store wearing a huge prominent silver spider pendant with red eyes. It was I’d say creepy.
Is she in a religion, or into something? Just curious?
Or what is it’s symbolism?
For a long time a large jewelled spider was Ivana Trump’s style signature. She always wore a jewelled spider somewhere. When she began marketing her jewelry designs the first piece she released was a replica of her signature spider and it remains her biggest seller to this day. If the spider was jewelled then she’s merely wearing a piece of jewelery. If it isn’t jewelled then the wearer might be a scientist who studies spiders. Or the person might keep spiders as pets. Or the person might be interested in the science behind spiders. Or they might think spiders are merely cool. Or the person might be wearing it to shock people and make them think odd things. There is no real religion based soley on spiders, although they do have a certain symbolism in paganism. Some pagan paths look upon the spider as a symbol of feminine power.
I don’t think spiders are creepy in the least. I think they are cool. Spiders eat mosquitoes and other far more harmful insect pests.
