I was wounded in Afghanistan. Do I have a chance to find a nice girl who won’t run when she sees me?
I will keep this short. I just got back from Afghanistan, and was injured while tending to another wounded person (I am a corpsman). Basically, I may not have full use of my right leg (thank the lord I was able to keep it), and I hand was partially mangled (I lost the tip of my pinky, and my right ring and middle fingers are pretty messed up). Are girls going to run when they see me?
the reason I am asking this is that my girlfriend left me before I was tore up…and now she is sorry…I don’t want to go back to her, after what she did…
If a girl runs from you now, she would not be the kind of girl you want. I mean the really trashy women won’t care as long as they get paid, and a life partner won’t care because they accept you for who you are. If they did care, then when you gain weight or get old they would be looking for something better. Hence not the kind of girl you would want anyway. Just be sure of yourself. You obviously have a good heart to be the kind of man you are. That in itself is attractive. The rest is superficial.
