Do you know any information about the following Queen Elizabeth II necklace?
I just found this Queen Elizabeth the Second necklace with my jewelry. I’m pretty sure it’s made of fake materials but I’m still curious about it. It is a small gold chain with alternating gold- and pearl-like beads. It is closed off but at the bottom a single strand that looks like the rest of the chain about an inch long hangs down. It leads to a small, circular pendant, approximately 1 centimeter in diameter. The pendant has circular, small dots, and the words “QUEEN ELIZABETH SECOND” (in all caps) along the circumference. In the middle is a profile of the queen from the side. She appears to be wearing a tiara, although it’s hard to tell because the whole pendant is a little faded and hard to read. If anyone can tell me any information about this necklace, I would greatly appreciate it!
Sounds like someone made a British penny into a necklace. Very common, you know.
Take it to a JEWELER or an ANTIQUE DEALER, because those are the people who deal in such things and know their value.
