is it alright for my cockatiel to eat natural wood?
We bought my cockatiel a new bigger cage, and with that, we bought him two natural wooden perches that are also bent and ya. anyways, one of the perches, there is alot of loose parts that my cockatiel seems to like to eat. Now is he eating it or just grinding his beak or something… anyways, is it alright for him, will he not get sick from it or something?
Your bird will be fine – My birds do this all the time and they’re okay, Its a way for them to ‘grind’ their beaks etc.
