I am made uncomfortable my people of other ethnic groups.?
I am made uncomfortable my people of other ethnic groups. I would not consider myself racist because I do not think that they aren’t capable of doing great things. I would trust the opinion of a doctor of a different ethnic group, but if I saw a pack of people from a different ethnic group walking towards me, I am inclined to find a different path to get to where I want to go. I would say I am made anxious if I am in a room with people of different ethic groups. Is there a name for this?

You have been influenced by pop culture, TV and movies. Often mass media has depicted scenes where ethnic and racial minorities are the villains, and white or light skinned blacks are the good guys.
Maybe your feelings are legitimate and you are truly scared of crowds of people who are seemingly a different ethnicity But I would suggest getting to know a few people who are different from you and learn that they are not that different after all. After you know and feel comfortable with one or two people, hang out with a group of their friends or family. You will soon realize that there is no need to be intimidated (unless, of course, you chose a group that is involved in crime or violence).
There is a ton of research about the above point. Also, research has shown that people who are more likely to live, work or go to school in a diverse environment. The less likely they are to have negative feelings about racial or ethnic minorities.
