How long till i can wear a dangle belly button ring?

I got my belly button pierced on March 6th and my piercer told me it was ok to chang emy piercing after 4 to 6 weeks and its now been 7. I bought a new belly button ring and it has a very little dangle but isn’t very heavy. I’m scared to change it, should I just wait a few more weeks?

It’s best to leave you ring in for 6 months unless you know it’s surgical steel. If you are positive that it’s made of that, then it should be fine to change it after a month or so. Dangle belly rings are only for going out. At night be sure to change back to your piercing ring.My piercer told me that dangle rings are like hoop earrings, and you wouldn’t wear those at night or for long periods of time. It made sense to me. lol
