The Wealth Vase

If at present you are redecorating your home with feng shui, you could add to your display the wealth vase. You can opt for a made-to-order vase but crafting your own will boost its magical abilities.

The wealth vase, since time immemorial, has been utilized by many cultures such as Tibet, Greece and India. At the counsel of their Buddhist Deity, the Tibetan people crafted wealth boxes or Yang Kam to attract wealth for the advancement of Tibetan Buddhism.

In feng shui, it represents personal and financial success. If done right, it will help you magnetize good luck and abundant fortunes to your life.

In creating your wealth vase, you have to be concerned about the shell of the vase, its finishing and its worth, and the things you will put within.

The shell of the vase can be made out of either metal or earthenware; samples of metal are gold, silver, brass, copper and samples of earthenware are clay, porcelain and crystal. There is no call for it to be very high-priced like solid gold. It should be as precious as you could have it but a plated one will do just fine. An antique vase is expensive but it is only made of porcelain. In looking for the best shape, find one that has a bigger hole. Look for a vase shaped like an hourglass that also has a large base.

There are many items that you could put inside the vase. These are Chinese coins, foreign money, semi-precious stones and gems, and soil from your rich friend’s garden or front yard. You could fasten the coins in collective chains of three, six, or nine. There are many types of gems for you to go for; these are amethyst, coral, lapis lazuli, tiger’s eye and more. The number and kind of gem is dependent on the natural element of the bread winner in the family.

Adding fruit seeds in the wealth vase is also suggested. It signifies constant provision of food to your family. A small statue of a wealth deity can augment the contents of your vase. Afterwards cover the vase with five pieces of cloth, each made of different color. These colors include blue, green, yellow, red and white. As for which color goes on top, it will depend on the element mentioned earlier.

What would be the wise idea when it comes to positioning your wealth vase? If the material of your vase is metal, locate it in an area influenced by the metal and water elements. You must also hide the vase from the eyes of others. The closet is a good place to put it but do not place it facing any door. Every New Year’s Day, you can bring it outside your house. You can bring it outside for clean-up but never open it at any cost.
