Can I use a 160gb hdd for my IBM Thinkpad T42?
I have an IBM Thinkpad T42 and has a 40gb hdd but I was wondering if a 106gb hdd is compatible with my laptop.
Any storage size should fit so long as it is the same physical size and has the same connectors.
You could put in a 500GB drive, so long as it was the same size.. There is usually no limit on size you can put in. Just make sure it can fit and connect
