What type of string/cord should I get for my craft project?
I’m going to make homemade bookmarks for Christmas gifts with handmade decorative beads on the ends. The holes for the beads are 1/16″. I don’t want leather or elastic, but I would like to find a brown string/cord that is sturdy and will not fray when putting beads on it. Any suggestions on what (or what kind of) string I should buy and where I can get it? Thanks to everyone who has suggestions!! =)
No suggestions on what it is called, but go to the hardware store (Ace, TrueValue) and look in the rope and string section
possibly Jute or Sissel Cord stock……
