Not all countries can boast of a cultural heritage showed through well-preserved architectural structures like Spain has; the structures one can find in Spain tells interesting stories about the historical landmarks of the country. The Cathedral of Avila, such as, is considered to be the first Gothic building in the country. Per se, the Cathedral of Avila is considered to be the first cathedral exhibiting Gothic influences in its design.
Many other remarkable constructions have been constructed since then, and all of them have their own stories. It’s quite interesting how much you can discover of a country’s history just by watching the trend of architectural designs around their landscape.
