Need New Drop Earrings? Look Into These
The style of jewelry offered by a pair of drop earrings is a really interesting one. Since most earrings are symmetrical in nature, I’ve always found this style to be really interesting. I’ve been a big fan ever since they’ve made their mark on the fashion world.
There are many designers offering up great sets of jewelry and earrings, and there’s no exception when it comes to them. I keep up with new releases regularly, so I thought now would be a good time to share some of my favorite new pairs of drop earrings with you.
Celebrities love these and I have a feeling that this jewelry style will continue to evolve, with new pairs springing up regularly. I’m really happy to see that many new fashion designers are entering the game as well.
If you’re looking for some great jewelry ideas for the holiday season or simply for the love of fashion, here are some pairs that could be of interest to you. Hopefully you’ll like at least one of these styles.
The first pair that I want to mention is a new set offered by Just Cavalli, who always offers pretty high quality jewelry. One of their strengths is their drop earrings line, and the Boule amethyst drop earrings are a really nice looking pair. The charm is purple and the chain is brass, making for a really nice contrast between the two colors.
Another pair, and possibly one of the nicest ones I’ve ever seen, is offered by Tiffany. Keep in mind that few people will ever be able to afford these, myself included. They’re beautiful nonetheless. This is a pair of earrings selling for $40,000 and they’re Tiffany’s teardrop earrings.
Now we obviously can’t afford these, but the takeaway here is the high likelihood that many designers will emulate the teardrop look and feel, offering up much more affordable sets on their own. Look for the teardrop style to gain momentum in 2010.
Finally, David Yurman’s onyx drop earrings deserve a mention. They’re very reasonably priced at $70 and they look like they should sell for at least two or three times the amount.
