what kind of wire would be good to make earrings?
i want to make a medium-sized, star shaped, beaded earrings. what wire would be bendable buy sturdy enough…

Have you considered gold-plated electrical wire? The larger gauges are sturdy, the copper is bendable. The plating is not heavy, but the items might be designed so the wear points would have beads rather than metal. It’s not going to tarnish until the plating wears through.
I get mine at a computer/electrical surplus supply outlet.
For earwires, I usually use sterling head pins or eye pins, reformed to my favorite curves.
