Dragon Design With Shui
For the east, the Dragon has become a symbol of mystical importance while in the west, the Dragon has become a symbol to fear. There is a wide gap in the understanding of what dragons really mean to the human race going by the art left behind by ancestors of both east and west.
For the people that are just and righteous, Dragons are benevolent beasts bringing blessings to the land. On the other hand, the Dragon is a fearsome beast that must be killed in order to avenge kinsmen and to take back stolen livestock and plunder treasures. Whatever the in between may be between these two cultures, all will agree that the Dragon is a mighty symbol that commands awe and respect because of it’s strength and majesty. Shui has this knowledge and have since then used the Dragon for their designs printed on their tee shirts.
Shui is a Men’s clothing and accessories company that produces tee shirts with the occasional cap and sticker. Their designs are heavily influenced by Eastern Traditions such as those of Japan and China that leans towards light colors and traditional designs that have been updated for the present century. If you take a look at their tees and the models that use them, it always looks like one whole tattoo piece.
Catering mostly to a Hip-hop and Tattoo crowd, Shui makes the best designs that catches the eye. There is no mistaking their signature style and identity from the artistic depictions of an Eastern landscape and the flowing design of a Koi pond. For them, one of the more popular designs that is flying off the shelves are of the Eastern Dragon. If you take a good look at the designs of the Eastern Dragon that they use, you will see the similarities it has to Japanese Tattoos. The serpentine like body and the long whiskers and beard is uniquely influenced by Japanese and Chinese cultures.
