Dangle Tibet

Dangle Tibet
Is anyone else fed up listening to the west moaning about china’s problems?

Im from the UK and I found it quite annoying this morning when I read the newspaper where there was a big write up about a mother who was “proud of her daughter protesting against china’s involvement in tibet” with a picture on the left of some british man dangling from a lampost in beijing holding a banner.

I find these kind of people pathetic, once the olympics are over they will be off to heathrow to moan about global warming.

I mean us in the west can’t be to critical, we’re stuck in Iraq for crying out loud, supposed to be “bringing freedom to the iraqi people”

To sum up, everytime I turn on the news its nothing but negative news articals about china, every country has their imperfections.

IT STINKS OF HYPOCRISY

Thank you, I’m glad I’m not the only one feeling annoyed about all this. The worst thing is that what these people get all riled up and self-righteous are falsehoods that the media wants to perpetuate because it sells. You’d think that if you’re so passionate about a cause, that you’d do even a little research on it first. Apparently, it’s much easier to criticize than it is to read. Much of the West is under the illusion that Tibet somehow needs to be freed and that the Chinese government is so evil it orders soldiers to run people over with tanks. Well, for anyone who’s interested in learning something today, here’s a few sources:
