Constellation Pdt
quickly moving star or satellite near north-western horizon around 1:00 am pdt?

i saw a star or satellite moving quite fast (in relation to surrounding stars) and blinking at a faster rate than the normal twinkling of stars (with a slight reddish tinge) moving north-westward toward the horizon tonight in northern california. could this possibly be either either a visible planet/satellite or the recently launched space shuttle endeavour? i am curious simply because it seems that this object was moving faster than the surrounding constellations.

It was blinking? Near the horizon? A reddish tinge?

It was an airplane. They have blinking lights and red lights.

Satellites don’t blink. At this time of the year a satellite will only be visible before 11PM or after 4AM
