Bead your Watch Faces Right – A guide to the best beads and watch face combinations

Beaded watches will always make a unique fashion statement. They not only serve as an attractive piece of jewelry but are also functional. Even better are watch faces which can be used with interchangeable beaded bands. You get to create a new look with a single watch face and a half a dozen or so beaded bands in varied colors just by changing the bands on the watch face.

It is however essential that you team the right beaded band with the right colored watch face to avoid making a fashion faux pas.  Some tips to help you select the right combination of beads to go with your watch faces are:

Select the same color bead as the color of the watch face – This is probably one of the safest methods to ensure that you will never go wrong. It is especially true when the watch face is colored. For example a rose or blue watch colored watch face will look best with the same colored beads. Else the watch may end up looking less like a piece of jewelry and more like displaying a lack of style.  You can be free to select the shape and size of the beads depending on what suits your wrist the best. If you are someone who can carry a five to six stranded beaded band with your watch face easily, then go for it. Otherwise single or double stranded beaded watches look good on most people.

Select a neutral colored watch face like white if you want to experiment with different colored beaded bands with only one watch face– A white watch face is amongst the most versatile when it comes to teaming it with a variety of beaded bands at your disposal. This kind of investment is especially good for those of you who want to change their look quickly on the move. It is also suitable if you do not want to splurge on too many beaded watches at once.

If you prefer rectangular and square watch faces purchase those with safety pin beaded bands. The entire band is made of safety pins with tiny beads woven into the pins. They look really classy and make a lasting impression. A white rectangular dial with lemon, black, blue or even multicolored safety pin bands go with almost any outfit.

Pearl watch bands with stone studded watch faces, oval watches with acrylic beading, beaded stretch watches are all interesting options to consider while you build your beaded watch collection.
