What is the best present your father has given you?
My father came back from Egypt two days ago, and I saw him yesterday. We were just talking, and he randomly presented me with a little velvet-type pouch. I opened it and there was the most beautiful pendant! It was solid Egyptian silver, with my name in ancient heiroglyphics, in a cartouche (like what the Egyptians wrote their Pharoahs names in, like this: http://158.130.17.5/~myl/languagelog/archives/TwtnkhamnCartouche.jpg)
He got it made specially and it has my name in English on the other side!
I was so tearful when he gave it to me, because I have had problems with my father making me think he didn’t love me. It’s so beautiful!
