Can Tiger Woods as a Buddhist find redemption?
I think he’s actually a disgrace to buddhism. Buddhism isn’t a religion that promises that, if you believe, you’ll go live in the sky with your imaginary friend when you die like christianity does. Buddhism is a philosophy and a way of life. Buddhism is a way to better yourself without delusion.
Tiger needs to work his problems out on his own, the worst thing he could do is hide behind religion and say he’s better. Christians like Brit hume want him to convert because -
1. If he converted and then happened to change his ways, it would make christianity look better
2. If he’s a christian everyone will forget about the whole thing and love him again
