What is the best way to do an antique finish to white frosted glass?
I have about 10 white frosted glass lampshades on various ceiling fixtures around my home. I would rather they have a more antique finish to the glass. Is there a way that I can do this myself? I thought about trying to stain them with tea so that they would be darker, but still opaque and not a solid color (definitely don’t want to paint them). Any suggestions?
take some non galvanized nails and leave in a bucket of water for about a week…then drain a majority of the water off and use the water and sediment to get and old fashioned look. You could use a brush of paper towel or even rags depending on the look you are achieving.
